AIRBAG ABG-2 Guitar Compressor 2011 Model Its analog/optical design was crafted to heavily compress while -thanks to its exclusive tecnology of Adaptive Attack- keeping intact the sound of your instrument. In the Airbag, the attack time adapts itself to the intensity of the signal: sounds way above the threshold are compressed faster, achieving a more natural dynamic. The Airbag also incorporates a Tilt equalizer, which allows you to adjust bass or high frequencies and obtain always the perfect sound, and a 10mm LED which indicates in real time the amount of gain reduction applied. As all our effects, this pedal is True Bypass and handmade. CONTROLS Compression: sets the threshold of the compressor: the level of the signal above which gain-reduction is applied. Attack: attack time of the signal detector. Controls how fast the signal is compressed. Large attack times allow the initial transients of each note to pass thru, providing a more natural sound. While fast attack times assure there are no level peaks left uncompressed. Bass/Treble: “Tilt” equalizer, allows to balance high and low frequencies. At the middle position there is no tonal change (flat). The Eq circuit is applied before the signal gets compressed. Gain: recovery gain over the compressed signal, to level up or raise the output in comparison with the bypass level. Compression LED: indicates the gain reduction being applied. Should shine with maximum brightness only in the peaks, for a tipical adjustment.
